“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Matthew 6:21

Welcome to All Things Treasured!

After years of sewing, knitting, talking about starting a business, changing our minds, crafting, sewing, knitting some more, thinking maybe the business was a great idea, being riddled with self-doubt, getting encouraging compliments, and then changing our minds again, we finally decided to take the plunge to create our business: All Things Treasured.

We’re family owned: a mom (now grandma) and her two daughters (also moms). All of our creations are made with love, families, and the environment in mind. We incorporate sustainable materials to create these new hand-crafted works of art. As moms in different stages of life, we understand how important it is to have something durable enough to keep up with our kiddos, as well as delicate enough to show the love and care put into our work.

Check out our Instagram for our original designs, finished products, works in progress, pattern references, and so much more!

Our mission is to nurture fun, safe, and loving moments between parents and their kiddos with high quality, sustainable, and affordable treasures.

How we are made.

With skills handed down through generations in our family, we’ve been crocheting and sewing for years. Even with that experience, we trust our four little test experts to ensure quality, cuteness, and hugability. They take the job VERY seriously, often insisting on extra testing time and unique designs. They are our biggest fans, harshest critics and the source of our inspiration.

What we’re made of.

  • High quality affordable yarn, typically cotton or acrylic. Both machine washable and durable materials!

  • All hand embroidery is made with mercerized 100% cotton thread, soft, shiny and strong.

  • A majority of the fabrics used are collected from recycled clothes or project scraps.

Giving Back

At All Things Treasured we are passionate about giving back to the community. Family, women and kids are at the forefront of our lives and so we knew we wanted to find a charity that aligns with our beliefs. We have chosen two organizations:

Sew Powerful & Warm up America!

Sew Powerful’s Purse Program “…enable(s) girls to stay in school. Purses are made and sent to Zambia as gifts. The local seamstresses in Zambia make re-usable hygiene pads and together they are provided to girls as part of health training.”

Warm up America is a national nonprofit that provides hand knitted and crocheted blankets, clothing and accessories that are made by volunteers across the country and donated to people in need. We will be using a portion of our profits to donate blankets and crocheted squares to their cause.

Meet the Founders

  • Janet

    FOUNDER

Hi! My name is Janet. I’m a grandma of 4 and absolutely love spending time with my grandchildren. My hobbies are reading, cooking, cross stitching, crafting and playing the piano. I have a passion for creating and, now that I’m retired, I’m ready for the next challenge in my life!

The first two ornaments I ever made were for my daughters as a keepsake in 1996. Seeing the joy in their faces, warmed my heart and started a yearly tradition. That joy inspired me to make more things for them. I’ve made many throw blankets and ornaments over the years and had a lot of compliments on them!

My hope is that you will love them as much as I love making them!

  • Julie

    FOUNDER

Hello peeps! My name is Julie and I’m a Domestic Goddess (aka stay at home mom). I’m also a writer, coffee addict, nerd, seamstress, and ALWAYS surrounded by flamingos.

I probably got my love of needle work from my mom and grandma. My mom was always doing one of those needlepoint kits or crocheting when I was little, and of course I wanted to do it too. I remember being completely awed by my grandma’s sewing room and the clothes she made for me. Now my own sewing room is filled with little trinkets from hers. (My favorite is her porcelain kitty pin cushion! I use it all the time.)

The very first thing I ever sewed was Barbie clothes with my sister. All we had to work with was little scraps of fabric, some old buttons, and zero sewing experience; but our Barbies looked stunning! Those clothes really inspired me to make things with sustainable materials.

  • Kelly

    FOUNDER

Hello friends! My name is Kelly. Outside of All Things Treasured, I am a wife, stay at home boy mom and homemaker.

I have been crocheting since I can remember! My mom always encouraged our creativity growing up and I kept it going into adulthood.

Originally, I learned how to make slippers! As an adult I decided I wanted to grow my hobby and I branched out. I started making amigurumi when I saw a beginner book and thought they looked SO CUTE! I made a couple animals for the kids in my life & was “hooked” after that!

I love experimenting and trying new patterns & switching things up. When we had the idea to start this business, I started making market bags, beanies, and so many other fun things! I hope that you find as much happiness and joy in my work as I have in making them for you!!
